A major overhaul of the previous Flash-based website design that was made over four years ago. The dense and highly structured grid of the website creates the context for the wondrous and dreamlike installations designed by Studio Drift.
A series of illuminating videos play in the background of the site as a contrast to the dark images of the dim lit spaces where the installations reside.
While I was waiting on my Raspberry Pi to arrive I started to build a casing for the small computer. I decided to make a casing that could be laser cut from a small piece of plastic and could be flat-packed for sending over the mail. The case is mountable to a projector or other smooth surface with suction cups.
To maximize the dynamic character of the laser cutter I designed a system where Raspberry Pi owners can have their own initials cut using a custom designed stencil font.
This is an ongoing project, the font and te plans for the case will be open for everybody at some point.
